To my untrained ears it sounds like all the Soviets are native Russian speakers. It must have been a pain to only cast actors that could do that, but it adds a lot to the show.

I loved the first half of season 2 and the last few episodes of season 3 were good too. Homeland could be edited down to an amazing show.
