The woman drove off in their car with the dude they wanted to capture ending with Liz and Phil standing over the man from that duo with no transport. I think it was less of a trap and more that the jewish guy had a Mossad tail who intervened when they saw Phillip and Elizabeth chloroforming him and putting him in their trunk. It seemed like an oh poo poo moment for everyone involved.
