This reminds me, has anyone yet floated the idea that Courtney is this year's ringer role? It seems so obvious to me, but maybe I'm just looking for it. (I'm convinced Detox was a plant last season, too, and was never intended for the top 3.) Courtney's bitchy snipes seem so random and out- of character, she never gets read for much, and she's arguably too famous for this show anyway—at least on the same level going in as Willam and Detox were in their seasons. Basically it feels like Ru has been hedging her bets with a man on the inside (yes), just so she can always have someone dependably talented if the other queens don't bring it. Which I'm finding especially funny this year since the roster has been hella talented.

Was I the only one who cringed at Darienne's couple's "vows"? The catchphrase-laden stuff was funny, yeah, but I was uncomfortably reminded of Naruto fans for some reason. Drag Race weeaboos. (Sheaboos?) Ben can't sew, but he makes good dresses anyway. I'm just curious how hot glue and desperation is going to hold up in a 3 looks challenge. Adore and Courtney are going to be bottom 2 next week entirely because of their inability to sew, and I have a feeling Adore's the one going home

I was kind of unsure about whether I really wanted to have Bianca win because then she would be ineligible for All-Stars and the more Bianca we get the better, but then I figured out a perfect solution that would preserve the integrity of the competition while giving us maximum Bianca screen time. After Bianca wins, just have her replace Santino as a permanent guest judge. That way everyone wins! (except Santino I guess.)

Trip report: Went and saw Bianca at Hot Mess Drag Revue. She was very talented and very funny but seemed very rushed-- probably because she was booked at a second gig across town. Sugga Pie Koko done stole the show.

Bianca just looks so amazing to me. She's unflappable, always gracious to the judges and any guests, witty and funny, and doesn't hide or pretend she isn't above throwing shade. My only minor complaint is that her look, while flawless, is obvious: the cut of her dress (I think I heard Courtney call it a boat cut?), the way she styles her wigs, and her (unique) eye make up. Regardless, I want her to win. Ben is adorable but there's something so wonderfully professional about Bianca.

Getting into this show and binging on all it's seasons plus untucked over three weeks is maybe the single most entertaining thing I've ever done. I went in knowing literally nothing about drag culture and now I'm in love with five different queens. Binging that quickly really highlights how polished Bianca is, I hope she takes it this season. Also this is probably incredibly old news for everybody here but when the dust settled I put on some old Community while I was working out and who should be in it singing about her pocket full of Hawthornes? loving Shangela. I've seen that episode a hundred times and never thought anything of the video before. Awesome.

(Barring a wild game change, the Top Three are a lock now; Dela versus Bianca versus Courtney versus Adore would be too unpredictable apparently.) This is Coco versus Alyssa all over again (in more ways than one: in both instances, a shady queen beat a rival quirky queen despite lip syncing three times). I'm pissed. EDIT: At least the race for Miss Congeniality just got a lot tighter.
