There were so many great queens through the years and if nothing else you need to see Tammie Brown on All Stars  It's a real shame that Drag U went off the air, I loved the campiness of it all. They really aren't doing enough with the queens after their seasons are over.

I actually did watch the first two or three eps of All Stars! Having that as a first exposure to some queens, I feel like the only person on earth who thinks Mimi was trying to bring it and Pandora was HER albatross who gave up instantly based on past prejudice, not the other way around. It's hard to watch the complete seasons when you already know the top 3/winner, since the earlier seasons have a lot of filler-queens. I've caught a few other random episodes here and there as well: some of classic Tammie, enough to love Ongina, enough to love Raja, enough to love Jujubee (which I've heard is NOT the standard response?!), and enough to not understand the Raven-love. Definitely queued it all up for the next down season, though -- at least until All Stars 2.

Jujubee is one of the most loved queens out there and if I'm not wrong also the most followed on social media. Raven is amazing, the original mean girl that did it with style. She also got robbed twice

Some queens just don't come across as well in the reality TV format. If anyone doesn't like Jujubee I will actually fight them. She's for real one of the funniest queen ever on the show, but still glamorous as hell and gorgeous to boot. She's probably the funniest straight up glamour queen. And yes, Tammie on All Stars is an absolute delight to see. Brown Flowers forever! I'm glad Morgan McMichaels still seems to be around, I really wanna see her in All Stars 2. I was surprised Alyssa wasn't in the talking heads though, I still want more! Alaska was great as always.

I have no idea what Sharon was thinking. The Michelle Visage thing didn't work at all and she wasn't funny in the least. Alaska on the other hand was great as always. To be honest I prefer the lazy drawl a lot over the voice she puts on in her YouTube videos.

Has anyone seen Transformations with James St. James? Basically different drag queens/performance and/or make-up artists beat James St. James' face. And it's really adorable how excited he is and it's fun to see people putting makeup on other people. Man, this summer is shaping up to be awesome for drag shows. We have a monthly drag event thing and this month is Bianca Del Rio & Tammie Brown (and Nina Flowers). June is the pride which has Ben DeLaCreme performing and the monthly performance is the top 3 with whoever else joins. I'm so extremely stoked!

Something I always think about when watching RuPaul's Drag Race is who do you think helped or hurt their image the most? As performers, they should realize that people are going to see what they do and make decisions to see them perform or not. I'd be more inclined to see Bianca over Laganja for example.

I think the two biggest beneficiaries are Kelly Mantle and Adore. I say Kelly because even though she left after 1 episode she still got to show her brand of humor. Consider this extremely unscientific measure: Kelly Mantle's 'Eliminated' has 69,641 views (1497 likes) on youtube while Chad Michael's 'Tragic Girl' has 16,457 views (223 likes). Relative merits of each song/video aside, that's some exposure. Adore is obvious; in two months she went from a WeHo baby queen to drag royalty with a tumblr army. Her biggest problem is that I get the impression her most die-hard fans are underage and can't get into her shows, but I've also heard the performances she's doing lately are amazing so I don't see Adore failing to pack in crowds by any means. I'm actually with you on this. I really liked Pandora up until all stars. Watching her totally give up after being paired with Mimi really left a sour taste in my mouth about her though. Glad to see I'm not the only one who was underwhelmed by Sharon on the recap. It's a real shame because she's the first queen I really geeked out about hardcore and now she's just like... washed up. Alaska, on the other hand, has only made me love her more since her season. The new video is definitely good, but honestly the song itself blew me away. Instantly my new favorite RuPaul song.

So is this year the same as the last, in which they filmed three endings and Ru doesn't really pick one till today? I like that no one knows till today, but it makes the filmed reaction feel a little less genuine. I much preferred the live reveal footage the did on the website last season.

They actually filmed four endings, one was a tie scenario between Bianca and Adore. What I would prefer is to do a pre-taped reunion episode of 30-45 minutes, and then cut to the live crowning that they're still going to do tonight anyway and just broadcast that poo poo. You get to catch up with everyone where it's calm and real, and then you get the pageantry of the live show.

Jinkx was old and tired halfway through season five for me. Is that "water off a duck's back/I'm such a fragile little snowflake who can barely handle all of this pressure and criticism even Hugh I'm winning" schtick still going strong? It must have appealed to a lot of people in order to get Jinkx to beat Alaska in the popular poll, but it rubbed me the wrong way.

I say chile put up with enough hell and physical abuse to ride the wheels off that shtick for the job. It is television, after all, and Jerick has no control over the editing process.
