Technically it's Molly, but she looks vaguely like an RPG character and turns out to be evil, so sadly it won't exactly be the Bruiser fix you're looking for.

WickedHate posted:It makes me so happy Scorpion's a good guy now. He's always kind of a good guy, just easily misled. Sub-Zero in the first game was an unrepentant rear end in a top hat, he appointed himself as Sub-Zero Jr.'s personal guardian angel in 2, got tricked by Quan-Chi in 4, and spent the intervening time between that and Deadly Alliance kicking his rear end all across Hell. Kinda lost track of what happened in the PS2-era games, but he was back to being a good guy in 9 until he was tricked by... Quan Chi. So basically, keep him away from anyone who looks like Kratos and he's a pretty nice guy. Solid job, clear life goals, even has his own cooking show.

WickedHate posted:It sounds like the heroic younger brother from 9. He's working with Raiden, and a Red Dragon grunt pleads that he wouldn't go against Quan Chi, to which Sub Zero says "Quan Chi was a long time ago". The last page is him getting the scar he originally had in his III look, too. Wasn't the younger brother in a Robot Predator body and then dead in 9? Or was there a 3rd one in the arcade mode ending?

Gavok posted:Even without that, the dialogue in the pages I posted makes it pretty clear Goro plans to kill Mileena instead of serve under her. That's even a plot point earlier in the issue where Reiko more or less tells her, "Goro's probably going to try and kill you. Let's let them kill each other and if either survives, I'll take care of it later." Man, gently caress Reiko.

Drifter posted:The Ultimates was the first time we had Sam Jackson in the Fury role, right? Like, years before the movies? I don't even know the timelines for these things. Yeah, and Jackson licensed out his likeness explicitly so he could have first dibs if a movie ever happened.

bobkatt013 posted:Yes. If they introduced the concept in the comics then Marvel has the rights. Yeah, the only off-limits parts are the actual toy characters, except for any that were "significantly changed" in the transition from toy to comic (read: Bug). Marvel pulled all kinds of tricks with their 80s licenses to keep as much as possible. See Also: Introducing the villain Circuit Breaker in Secret Wars 2 instead of the actual Transformers comic, solely to claim that she was part of the "greater Marvel universe" rather than TF-exclusive (like Zarak, the Witwicky family, etc).
