So does anyone know if the Google books app reads cbr/z files that aren't purchased through their store? Kinda want to give that bubble zoom thing a try.

I'm sure it varies by series but generally a chapter is from what I've seen the size of a western floppy in page length if not a little more So 100 is still a lot

Musta missed that post before but waifu2x and its derivatives are made for that purpose (correctly upscaling art), and have been used to upscale games sprites as well. i have a 10" tablet which i think is about the minimum to read a comic well, esp with 2 page splashes, so id look at something higher than that my nexus 10 is quite old in tech terms tho, so i cant help with what to actually get tho sorry

i really tried to get into pax romana and the nightly news but just couldnt the nightly news especially does not seem to be suited to reading digitally because all the various text boxes are tiny but that also seems like something that would be exacerbated when reading on smaller print pages, so i dunno how hickman got away with it back in the day
