Spider-Island is on sale from 25 -> 4 dollars. Which for something like 18 issues is a steal. Even if it is primarily Slott. Although, I didn't mind it as it technically kick-starts Scarlet Spider and there are a few funny one liners.

Valiant keeps putting their stuff on sale. I keep buying it for a buck a pop but i'm still not sure what issue I'm upto.

It doesn't mark automatically the last issue you read does it?

Amazing spiderman 1-67 is on sale today for 99 cents each. There is some amazing loving comics and it's hard to not just say buy them all.

With that $5 dollar card you get masterworks #1 for like 4 bucks, that's 1-10 + the 99c sale means I got the first 13 or so issues for 1 buck ninety.

Amazing Spider-Man sale on Comixology. I remember Nerd rage hitting critical mass around the Alpha period, if I wanted the full Alpha experience what issues do I need? 692-994?

Kaine is a clone a Peter Parker. He used to be a badguy but no he is going to live his life not being a badguy or hero.
Just read it, it's really good

That and he can turn invisible, talk to spiders and stab people with a stinger thingy. (As someone who started reading cold they were the three things I didn't know he could do)

But yeah it's great.

edit: Has anyone read the Black Bat? Looks kinda goofy fun.

There's also a run of X-Men comics on sale by some nobody. Gee, I hate it when they put these stupid runs up that no one cares about.

And while you're at it, #263 is the return of Jean Grey, and is the jumping off point for X-Factor which was a cool comic in my opinion.

Whatever they are doing, it worked on me. After that xo manowar sale, I had to get myself up to date. With enough of these sales, I'll have everything Valiant put out.

Totally worth it though. Even the worst Valiant stuff is better than the average big two book. They know quality.

Agreed. Whenever there is a sale I just totally re-up another bunch of issues.

I guess that's vaguely plausible but Amazon's website is incredibly poorly laid out to sell something with a release schedule like comics and I'd imagine overall sales would sharply decrease if Comixology went away. If anything I'd think they'd try to infect Comixology with more cross-media purchasing options.
