I'm playing Grim Dawn. It's basically just Titan Quest 2 but set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world. The world design is neat and it has great enemy design. Combat feels a lot like Titan Quest (many of the skills are even identical) which is good because it had some real weight to its combat. Instead of seven or eight classes or whatever there are now four and you get to pick two of them. This really cut a lot of the fat off skill trees and what you're left with is a bunch of skills that can all be your viable main build skill. Difficulty feels just right (enemies are challenging but not just big pools of hp and damage and stats). Loot is a lot more interesting than it was in Titan Quest and it's pretty clear which pieces are upgrades, but you also have the ability to attach Active skills to any piece of equipment and expand your skillset that way.

I don't recommend buying any game in Early Access but this should be a title to look out for once they add the Third Act and Multiplayer. As a real big Diablo 2 fan this is the first ARPG to kind of capture my inner lootslave in the same way D2 did. I'm really hoping that we get a centralized multiplayer server so we can have ladders and cheat-free MP.

I just got to the teleporter in Half Life 2 at Kleiner's Lab. Pretty crazy that Kleiner was able to set this thing up. I'm not sure if I want to go through it though.

Yea I tried it back in october and it was really cool. I didn't want to get burned out so I put it down after dicking around with it for an hour but yea it'll be awesome once they get MP in. are they planning on adding ladder though?

edit: been playing Guacamelee. It's really cool and I'm really surprised at how fun it is. definitely recommended for <$5

I finished Splinter Cell Blacklist and moved on to Thief, another stealth game.

Thief is really fun and kicks Splinter Cell's rear end but MGS will always be the best stealth series.

Crysis 1 & 2. Very pretty all maxed out, and turns out they're pretty fun shooters to boot. I like the open ended approach you can take, the suit is a nice gimmick too. Physics for days. I have 3 waiting in the wings for afterwards. I played a little bit of it already. The crossbow is fun.

Just beat Hotline Miami last night. It took only two sessions but a lot of it was repeating the same bullshit encounters over and over again. Good thing there's chapter select, I don't think I wanna replay those segments.

Dunno if I should get Dark Souls on Steam since I never use my PS3 anymore or actually start playing Chaos Theory.
