C,D: We will go via the river so that we at least have a water source and can likely scrounge up some fish or other food alongside the bank for as long as possible. And we will try to buy food from merchants because doing trade in the wastes means that both sides will be looking to get goods cheaper than in a city for various reasons. We can use our legal knowledge and decent wealth to our advantage then.

A- Yeah, we are going to be traveling with a decent amount of goods through nomad territory. We will be better off moving with a good amount of guards so that we won't be attacked at all, though we could probably handle it ourselves if it came to it.
