I like watching speedruns because occasionally they'll do something cool that you can replicate fairly easily made co op borderlands 2 like 100% better once you learn how to dupe and do the axton speed trick. too bad you have to revert to a previous patch to get the infinite ammo

people who speedrun Luigi's Mansion do it on the hidden mansion which you unlock after beating the game once. You get to skip a bunch of dumb tutorial crap and the layout is slightly different but otherwise it's pretty much the same. The problem here is these fuckers don't put that important information in the category name so you would have no idea unless you studied a run.

If you're speedrunning something and it isn't 100% optimized to get you viewers or get you a spot in a/sgdq so you get more potential viewers you are doing it all wrong. the hobby is just an excuse to stream a bunch so you can make money playing video games.
