Oh hey, the forums are back! That means I can post the update. Episode 9 - “The Lady or the Tiger?” - Suggested by Lord_Ventnor  Lord_Ventnor posted:Anyway, for another game idea, how about one based off of the Lady or the Tiger? Basic idea is, you have two doors, and you have to tap one. Behind one is a tiger that mauls you and makes you lose, behind the other is a lady and you win. I'm not sure when the next video will be posted. It's hard to make recordings when it's so nice outside! I've actually been thinking of switching to a new game soon, though I'm not sure which one. Maybe I'll still keep this thread open for sporadic updates? It depends partially on what you all want. One of the reasons I've been busy lately is that I've been working on my first game that I actually programmed (in Python). Check it out if you're interested. Oh, and you can add The Old Man and the Sea to the list of "poo poo I haven't read." I should really read more.

Watching both these episodes in a row since I had missed Lady or Tiger being posted, the solution to your not being able to import art from the other object to make the doors identical should have been pretty obvious, really... since you can copy the entire object. I'll admit, however, to not realizing that when I watched that part of the episode, but I had this nagging feeling of "That can't be right, I know I've used the exact same art for different objects" and then you went and showed that off in the next episode. I'm sure you copied objects in earlier episodes too. Chalk it up to brain fart, I suppose! Gotta say I found the music phrase you made for the latest game really good, too. I need to go back to making some games, I was in the process of making one but it kinda never worked and I lost interest I guess. Should just start over on something new. Edit: Figured out how to solve most of that, but I still have issues with my one-of-three randomizer. Sometimes it selects none of the three and that doesn't work at all.
