Why on earth is there no audio for when something hits your shield? I've died so many times to this ogre in Things Betwixt or whatever it's called, all because I thought he wasn't hitting me when he actually was. Something that big doesn't make any noise when it punches your shield? Really? Now I'm all out of not-firebombs and throwing knives. Guess I'll go grind some out in the first area of the giants' forest so I can kill this fat jerk for his ring. This whole 'you lose more and more health when you die but can't get it back' thing sucks. Maybe there's a way to do it, but I read/watched nothing leading up, so I'm trying to work it out on my own. So far, no luck.
