Odin First things first, Odin stretched out his inhuman sense looking for any sort of security or camera system he could access. After all, he wasn't terribly durable, he was was far better suited for information analysis and support than front-line work. Plus, getting down in the dirt and grime is exactly why he had Thor.

Odin "There's something out of the ordinary on this ship. Something unlike anything I've every encountered up to this point, I should be able to access it remotely in theory, but I have no idea what's going to be inside of there. I've also been unable to detect any security or surveillance system, or at least any active ones. I'm going to access the ships Navigation system, see if I can find out where it's been or if there's any other useful information stored there." He reached out to the navigation system, careful to keep an eye out for any sort of security, access control, or any other sort of trap. Trying to stealthily investigate the navigation system for info on the ship. Like it's past course, any sort of logs that may be stored onboard, whether it's communicating with anything outside. Odin "There's nothing of value in the navigation system. I'm going to try and access the foreign system, so be on your guard." True to his warning he very very carefully probes the strange network note, attempting to learn about its properties and determine if there were any traps. Cautiously probing the other system looking for information about it and keeping a whether eye open for traps and the like. (6:55:55 PM) Morphball: Valhawk: 29 = 1d20(9)+20

Odin Odin is distracted from his own failure with the network by Impulse's request. He'd check, but even if he couldn't he should be able to find the pull up the specifications for the class itself off of the internet, and well, if he couldn't that would tell him something too, after all, what company had the money for a one-off run of a ship design. Tech to search the network I still have access to + the internet for blueprints of the ship or at least its class. (6:42:59 PM) Morphball: Valhawk: 27 = 1d20(7)+20

Odin Odin attempted to use his own knowledge of the bio-sciences and material sciences to try and determine what he could about the unknown technology. [It appears we that the ship's crew has been subverted somehow, the mechanism might be quite useful to me.] He transfers over the QE Comm to Thor. Thor wasn't gifted with his own intellect, but he had found that he made a useful sounding board none-the-less. Plus, it wasn't as though the thoroughly brainwashed cyborg would reveal any of his secrets. Analyzing stuff. Odin & Thor :Destroy them!: Odin orders his bodyguard, Thor doesn't need to be told twice, anything that dared to threaten his lord needed to be neutralized immediately. The hulking figure's arm splits to reveal a powerful energy weapon which he aims at one of the robots and then fires. At the top of the order, Odin will do nothing because there's not really anything he can do. I guess some sort of full defense or something. Down at the bottom, Thor's gonna use his Graser Beam to fire some concentrated gamma radiation at one of the Robots. (10:53:57 PM) Morphball: Valhawk: 23 = 1d20(13)+10 Blast DC 25

Odin & Thor Odin had been splitting his attention between analyzing the movement and structure of the robots, and carefully monitoring the implants and brain-functions of Thor. This was the first time, the his servant had seen true combat, and there was a myriad of useful data to collect. He also wanted to make certain that Thor's indoctrination held even in a high stress situation like active combat. Thor, for his part, pulled himself out from the dent he'd made in the command tower of the ship when he'd been flung into it by the Robots blow. The impact would have killed a lesser man, but luckily for Thor his body had been reinforced with a myriad of cybernetic implants. Still somewhat dizzy from the force of the blow, he nevertheless aims his Graser emitter at the robot and fires again. Odin's using Tech to give everyone a +2 to his. Taking the thing that lets me auto-roll 10 so it's a 30. Thor, dazed, shoots at a robot: (7:14:18 PM) Morphball: Valhawk: 29 = 1d20(17)+12

Odin Now that the battle was over, Odin revealed himself from crate he had been crouching behind. He immediately makes a beeline over to Thor, looking over his bodyguard in fine detail to see if all of the huge man's systems were functioning correctly, and making small repairs where necessary. Through the QE Link he pulls up the diagnostic readout of Thor's brain implant eager to see the effects of the combat on the mental programming he had put into place. Once he's satisfied with his work with Thor, Odin begins to examine the wreckage of the robots looking for information that might be immediately useful or that might advance his own understanding of robotics. It wasn't every day you had someone assemble something so complex from nearly nothing, after all. Examining/helping repair Thor Tech take 10 so 30. Then examining the robot same as the other roll take 10, 30.

Odin "We still have no practical knowledge about the means by which it transformed the crew, and no guarentee it wouldn't just zap us into even more minions if we approach. While this technology is fascinating and I would love to study it more closely, might we be better off just by sinking the ship immediately, and letting the ocean destroy the device for us?"

Odin "I'm not sure what other option we have. Anything else requires getting in range of the device, with has a high probability of just giving it a superhuman minion as well, assuming the powers survived the change."

Odin "Let's quickly examine the portion of the ship not occupied by the artefacts, it won't be as useful as firsthand observation, but it provide us with some information." HiKaizer has clarified that the crazy cyberzombies only take up the front 1/3rd of the ship. So we can check out the rest without having to worry about being cyberized.

Odin "It appears the pod is somehow causing time to accelerate the closer one gets to it. It's a fascinating phenomenon, and I'd certainly like to know how it's being done, but I can't really tell anything about it without being able to see it close up. I'd also love to get my hands on one of the cyberized individuals, but I'd advise against getting anywhere near the device that transformed them." Odin looks pensive for a moment, "It might be worthwhile to send Thor to examine the pod from a distance, I can examine his sensory data remotely." What Odin leaves unsaid is that it would also be an excellent chance to field test Thor, and continue to study the effectiveness of his programming. "What do the rest of you think?"

Odin Odin's eyes narrow, it appears that the programming hadn't taken as completely as he'd thought. Closing his eyes for a moment, Odin connects through his QE link with Thor's implants and makes some adjustments and revisions to their parameters before he orders the implants positioned in key points in the bigger man's brain to repair Thor's loyalty programming. He supposed it was inevitable that his first attempt at this sort of thing was hardly perfect, but each of these outbursts, as bothersome as they were, would only serve to refine the final product. When the time came to mass-produce servants like Thor he would reap the benefits of this work. Then the world would know his true genius and tremble. Giving the implants a long moment to do their work, Odin answers Thor's question with another question, "Do you believe you should get a say?" Not sure if I need to roll anything for this, but if rolls are required this seems like one that should happen behind the GM's screen. Odin's getting his Evil in where he can. Odin Odin (barely) manages to suppress a fit of maniacal laughter into an overdone attempt to clear his throat as he hears Thor's response. "Ahem... Now, as I was saying. I could use Thor as a probe to attempt to get a better idea of pod's function. Based on my initial estimates it will likely destroy itself. The issues with the ship appear to be an unintended side effect of the time acceleration, and I would wager it wasn't originally intended to operate in a location where corrosion is an issue. So the question becomes whether the rest of you believe it is worth the time and slight risk to do this or whether we should move on and hope the encoded logs tell us more."

Odin As Odin looked over Thor he mutters, "Fascinating..." The time dysjunction had been dynamic. It was a lucky thing Thor's self-repair systems had functioned to keep him nourished during the subjective year his body had experienced. It was probably for the best that none of the others had attempted to go in, surely it would be fatal experience for anyone else. Odin looks over the readouts he's receiving from Thor, the break between what his bodyguard's consciousness and body had experienced was also interesting. Another benefit was the excelent data this provided on how Thor's body would adapt to the implants over the long-term. He would have to conduct a thorough examination when they returned to the base. For the moment he would have to be satisfied that Thor was more or less working order. "Good work." He adds, reminding himself that the Loyalty Program would be more effective if it meshed with Thor's existing mental state. Running a quick check-up on Thor to make sure he's in working order. Odin The results of his examination made virtually no sense. Odin would have to run Thor through more extensive tests when they returned to base. For the moment though, all that was left was the possibility of capturing one of the victims of the dragon's tooth for dissection. "Unfortunately, there's not much I can tell from the field here other than the time dilation effect is not consistant. If possible, I'd like to capture one of those affected by the spike, for... examination," Odin manages to contain his evil laughter at that last line to a sinister chortle.
