"Don't be a lemon, be a rosebud" is an incredibly stupid catchphrase. It's not even clever or a play on words or anything, it's just a stupid phrase. And why did the bunny come out? Easter is over.

His debut was different but really half his appeal is the entrance the crowd was bad but even they broke out into singing his theme so he must be doing something right. His gimmicks never going to propel him to main event status but he can be a fun midcard act and lets just see if this swagger interaction goes anywhere.

The Adam Rose debut went better than I expected, thanks 100% to Zeb Colter's look of shock, disgust, and fear. Was also somewhat surprised to see the crowd doig the theme, will be interesting to see if that continues.

I am interested to hear everyone's opinions on why the fans cooled on Ryder. Was it totally the WWE's fault for burying him in the Kane feud? You could argue that other people were buried (Bryan) and people still got behind them and they recovered. Could it be that Ryder's act was one dimensional and fizzled out because there was no depth to it? I guess complaining about his push on the Internet didn't help either.

Man, that one guy was right. People will outright make stuff up (like the crowd not being into Rose) to justify hating on a guy they don't like.

Adam Rose will do fine, but it would help a lot if they made the gimmick more over the top. The party needs to be way bigger, and I dunno how feasible this is, but they should even get the bus to drive out, like on the right side of the Raw set, and have him and the party come out of that.

I don't think Bryan ever got buried quite like Ryder did. Ryder had a groundswell of support that ended up with him in a feud with Cena & Kane where he was completely humbled and embarrassed. Daniel Bryan had lovely stuff happen here and there, for sure, but never quite like Ryder. But more to the point, Bryan was also never completely removed from Raw and most B-shows either. It's hard to keep momentum when you're never seen on TV.

I'd say WWE's fault as his one big program was completely designed to kill his momentum. Him getting really annoying on twitter and his YT show getting really bad didn't help matters. Fans still chanted his name for a long while even when he was dropped down to jobber status - but how long are you going to chant for a jobber who is never on TV?

I had a really great time at Raw. It was my first time going, so it was exciting. The people in my section sucked though and just sat quietly for most of the show. The guy next to me just kept scoffing and saying "that's so fake". My heart was breaking for the kid behind me all decked out in Cena gear who kept asking his dad where Cena was. But, he finally came out after the show went off the air and that kid lost his mind. It was adorable. The crowd cheered quite loudly for Cena. I was surprised!

Bryan did have Cole actively making GBS threads on him every time he came out while Ryder was just ignored or dismissed. The latter is quite a bit worse because it could never be spun into a 'Ryder has been held down for years' angle and the fans completely forget that he exists.

Part of the reason why Daniel Bryan can weather storms better than Zack Ryder is that, you know, he's actually a really great wrestler. So they can put him in dogshit angles as they do, but once he finally gets in the ring Daniel can usually find a way to spin it into gold and get people engaged. The fact that the crowd was so dead for his match on RAW shows that there are some angles so bad Daniel Bryan can't defeat them, in addition to once again proving that Alberto Del Rio is an amazing heat vacuum. Zack Ryder could not get people to forget bad booking when he was in the ring because he's a lovely wrestler who doesn't know how to connect to a crowd outside of fist pumping.

I have a feeling the matches between DB and Kane are gonna be all gimmick matches or schmozzes. However, they had a really rad match(other than the forklift thing) at Extreme Rules so I have faith in it. I'm still completely bewildered at the John Cena/Wyatt cage match tho. The build was excellent but the actual match was dumb as gently caress. WHY ARE YOU CLIMBING OUT THE loving DOOR IS OVER THERE
