Abolish the draft, and if you win a championship you lose all your players and can't resign them. I don't see any flaws with this system.

On the one hand, the Heat get a lot of love from the refs because of their star power, but on the other hand, if Pacers games were called accurately their opponents would shoot 80 free throws a game.

I think if he went with much more severe/humorous side-effects (i.e. an actual "penalty" for Laker's fans getting that trade would be something like you will unexpectedly poo poo your pants after every Laker's win) or gone with some sort of hilarious unintended/tricky side-effect, like the Laker's get that trade but the coach of the team is Bill Simmons/Jimmy Buss/V Stiviano/Jack Nicholson, it would have been more in spirit with the inspiration for the article and been a much better execution. Ahahaha, is this a real post
