Hay guys, I went through the thread and read the very last post, so I have a pretty grasp of what's going onCaptain Foo posted:##vote meinberg trying to go for a joketurbo and then backing out with an elaborate cover of "i wasn't paying attention" ##vote Meinberg

It's true, he doesn't usually seem to care, although I don't recall seeing him at -1 before so maybe his survival instinct kicked in

JakeP posted:If you are going to automatically assume anyone who lied to you in a previous game is always lying, you are going to be policy voting everyone if you play enough games. Does it not make sense that I might not mind getting myself lynched as a vanilla town, but I might put a bit more effort to protect myself if I am a town power role? Sure I would also do the same thing as scum or 3P, but to assume I am not town because I don't want to be lynched is outright dumb.

I'd rather no-vote then vote town.

It's broken for all games, I'm pretty sure. Not sure who takes care of it now.

Ixtlilton posted:Pretty sure it's TwelveBaud who's in charge now. Also, why is Jake scum? He'll respond to things, but he's careful. I've played with him a few times recently, and this isn't normal play for him.

Ixtlilton posted:And you don't think his softclaim is a more likely reason for slightly different play than him being scum? But right now his only effort is to mostly lay low, and make sure he doesn't get merked.

Meinberg posted:Nah, I'm sure there is scum. I just feel bad about being a part of the group that lynched our doctor. That said, avoiding a no-hang is likely for the best, and no real targets emerged other than Jake, and I'll acknowledge that the case on him was flimsy at best. Flimsy, though, is better than nothing.

Meinberg was saying there is no scum.. hard to see who could benefit more than him by withholding the kill.

Good idea.. ##vote no merk

# ¿ Jun 3, 2014 06:16 |

I don't think a no-merk is such a bad thing.. we don't have to do it forever. But why not survive while we can. I'm sure there are people doing night ~actions~ so there will probably be useful information. I really don't mind voting Meinberg, but since nobody has died, he doesn't seem like a big threat.
|
# ¿ Jun 3, 2014 14:59 |

Scum isn't a threat as long as they aren't killing anybody.

You're trying to put a spin on my words. But hey don't worry, you voting for Meinberg early shows everybody that you are super town for sure.
|
# ¿ Jun 3, 2014 16:04 |
|
True, as long as we're sure we're not going to vote another town PR.
|
# ¿ Jun 3, 2014 16:16 |

Yeah, my thought is that there are night actions happening.. probably someone investigating people. So people will probably be cleared. But I'm okay voting scum. But if Meinberg flips town cop...

This is the OP currently. I've been a willing pawn in Ecco's experiments too many times to trust him in a game revolving around dementia. So we vote Meinberg. What if he flips town? What's the plan if there is no nightkill again?
