I love that Blanco started round 2 the same way he started round 1. I love consistent fighters.

"beautiful strikes to the triceps"

MagicCube
May 25, 2004

Ugh, Ogle's feet are crossed right there. Blanco could have got it there too if he just would of bridged when he had the feet locked up. That's like basic stuff. That combined with Ogle running into the same thing to start each round leads me to believe he's a big dummy.

Also, jersey tattoo.

Wasn't being sarcastic - if you're on the ground trying to finish a guy off and to get him worried about things other than the choke you're trying to get him into why not punch him everywhere you're allowed to. Just thought it was funny that they said 'why not' instead of trying to apply some sort of commentary logic to it.

Yes, exactly. Any strike serves to do some damage, but more importantly gives the guy more to think about and react to. Its this sort of thing that really sets up submissions, not just sitting there and holding position.

I agree. I get so tired of Rogan's relentless, maniacal hyperbole. And while Goldberg may know what he's talking about, he's not convincing.

No.

The greatest moment in my life was realizing that I didn't need a belt to be happy.

Yes, the constant yelling hype machine really gets to me these days. It is very refreshing to hear two guys 1) talking about whats actually happening in the fight and 2) making intelligent points is a treat.
