Bashez posted:Kawhi Leonard isn't really quick enough to guard Westbrook, I thought we'd figured that out already. The spurs do not have anyone quick enough to guard Westbrook. They just have to play off him and hope he misses his jumpers.

The best thing to come out of this for the Spurs is that Westbrook is probably going to take and brick some 3s and that'll help the Spurs win any shootout.

H-Tail posted:His transformation from end-of-the-bench scrub guy at Charlotte to 'one of the best passing big men in the game' is forever astonishing. I'm not sure you can take any player's performance in Charlotte as meaningful of anything. Diaw was excellent in Phoenix.

big boi posted:OKC need a scorer off the bench. But who? OKC decided to put all their scoring in the starting lineup. Butler is their best scorer off the bench but he's not very good at this point in his career.

Errant Gin Monks posted:Even though the announcers don't agree I think Bonner made a huge difference. The Spurs have improved the way the off-ball big moved around and are looking for him now so Ibaka has been pretty much a non-factor after the first quarter. You can tell Diaw is not used to just spot up shooting but he can do a lot of nice things with the ball.
