After all the Grossman and Peacock callups I'm a bit overly excited to first see Springer and now Singleton, the guys who are actually expected to make something of themselves are arriving! Give me a break here, I haven't had anything to be excited about for years now

Well, except Cosart I guess

Not enough love for Encarnacion and Brandon Moss. And they are both on the ballot as DHs despite spending most of their time at first base this year, and in 2013 as well?

And Moss has logged over half as many outfield innings as at first base this season.

Teams nominate a player at each position before the season starts, so blame the A's management if you care so much about Brandon Moss's All-Star chances.

Part of #Marlins’ idea in giving up 39th pick for #Pirates’ Bryan Morris was to clear money for another reliever. Draft slot worth $1.4M.

I think I read a review of that. Thought it was one of those baseball stories like "Pride of the Yankees", you know? But it's just about some crabby old sailors, stuck in this little town.

In my dreams, I see the Mariners with an offence that supports Felix and Iwakuma like they displayed today and they become genuine run-off contenders. Still I'm not going to complain, today was one of the most fun games I've watched so far. Also Kyle Seager is a pretty cool guy.

I think it might be time to send Smoak down or at the very least bench him for a while... He's just not there lately. The problem is, who could they possibly replace him with? Trying to sign Morales again (when it appears he has no interest in staying with the Mariners as it is) would be stupid so...?

As of right now with the second wild card, the last place team is only 7 games out in the AL. The worst team in the NL is only 8 games out of the second wild card. Every team is still playing 'meaningful' Baseball in June - at least so far as a third of the season is over.
