I get the whole "KAYFABE IS DEAD" thing, but I think it says neat things about today's wrestling fan that they can keep both in their heads without any issues.

Alternatively, it must be a big shock for NXT talent to get called up and find out that their cool boss is an rear end in a top hat and literally tried to murder the current champion.
