i thought i would be really cool about it but for some reason i cant stop mentioning it whenever a conversation steers vaguely in the direction of wellness/self-improvement so now i hate myself for a different reason

that is some good feedback, i didn't wanna go all weight and watch/ylls about it, sometimes you just wanna get some general improvements and when you ask around you end up with McHuge StrongSon trying to sell you on his simple 15 step weight lifting set & workout regimen and all i wanna do is just be generally active and eat less stuff that serves only to make you fat :sigh:. i'm in ok shape but as you say: "skinnyfat", like from a distance i appear to be a lanky chill dude, but secretly I'm pushing 195~, it helps that i'm 6'0" so that is basically invisible, but it's a slippery slope, only gets harder the more i gain

I used to be fit-ish from cycling everywhere but since I moved to HK any outdoor exercise is basically the worst idea and now I'm getting fat :(

Still too lazy to do anything about it :(:(

that's not the right way to sit, in fact, it puts the most strain on the spine of all positions

you should be leaning back, having your torso at approximately 135 degrees to your legs.

i think that general nagging desire in the back of your head to have a more healthy lifestyle will help you as much if not more than any regimented program you can find

personally i couldnt tell you exactly what i changed about my eating habits or when i started exercising regularly, but that same mentality made me lose some bad habits and pick up some good ones and my daily routine adapted to it
