 DeadpoolIn TV news, I'm really looking forward to the coming season of True Blood. I know people think it has deteriorated greatly over the years, but I prefer to think that it was always trash. Enjoyable trash, but trash. I've also been bingeing on trashy reality cooking shows, specifically old seasons the US MasterChef and Hell's Kitchen. What other shows fit that sort of niche? I used to watch a lot of Iron Chef, but it's a different sort of contest, and I caught some crappy Kitchen Casino a couple weeks ago... I don't think I'll be revisiting that one.

Awesome new thread! So I think when Finn and the lump monster had sex i-NO I'm four episodes deep into Orange is the New Black season 2 and loving it just as much as the last one after a slightly meh premiere. The Jason Biggs parts are so boring and predictable though.

So I've been addicted lately to the How Did This Get Made podcast, which is Andre and Rafi from The League plus Andre's IRL wife and great guest stars. It's amazing, Jason Mantzoukas is apparently pretty much in-Rafi-mode 24/7. e: my go to "trashy reality show" on Netflix is My Strange Addiction. The episode with the guy who fucks his car

Based on the one episode I watched and a few comments I've seen, people seem to have issues with following the direction of the themes/limits given them.

So anyway…the ending of Lost sucked, but the ending of Battlestar Galactica was awesome. Adventure Time is too complex for its audience, unlike Game of Thrones Also...the ending of Battlestar Galactica sucked, but the ending of Lost was awesome.

Well, the ads on Hulu were more interesting than the latest episode of Crossbones. Edit: I think the strangest part was that they made the crew wear sacks over their heads on the freaking boat, so they couldn't trace their way back to the island. But how the hell do you backtrack on an ocean?

You can't draw a Nazi allegory when your 'Jews' are literal bloodthirsty monsters who must kill and eat human beings to survive. Vampires, by and large, should be put to death. I don't know how you could even argue against this given their behavior throughout the series (to say nothing of the world at large/throughout human history).

Deadpool, for the record, you are one of the best mods this place has had and I am definitely going to miss you running the place. Your challenges were fun without being cruel to the posters they were for and you were always fair that I saw. Also, Orange is the New Black season 2 is an improvement over the first, which I listed as my second favourite of 2013. It's real great.

It would make sense for them to be hooded as they were leaving whatever port/city they came from, but having them just stand there the whole time with hoods on their head was done purely for dramatic effect and made it seem especially dumb. Also it kind of says something when that was only the 4th or 5th dumbest thing that happened in that episode. Spoiler alert y'all: Crossbones isn't very good. It might be ok if they leaned into the goofiness in a fun, Sleepy Hollow 'This doesn't really make sense but I love it' way, but they take themselves way too seriously while also having a completely nonsensical plot and completely unnatural character motivations/interactions.

There's no real place for me to gripe about this, but it's really bugging me that BT Sports are saying 'HD 1080' in all their ads, blatantly to trick people into thinking it's 'Full HD' when it's actually the same interlaced signal everyone has been using for a decade. Assholes.

The Leftovers might actually be good. Something Cuse is doing (The Strain?) might actually be good too. Also on the topic of people in the JJ Abrams satellite party, I don't immediately hate Kurtzman/Orci like most people. I'm sure someone will accuse me of having suffered multiple strokes.

I loved Lost, and it's finale. So if you do or don't like me, I'm sure that's solely the reason why. I think the only bad thing about Lost was that it caused people to overanalyze a lot of shows that followed to the point that for a long time it poisoned discussion about TV. People started to think everything was a mystery to be solved and saw things that weren't there. I think we're just now getting to the point where people are finally learning that's not the case. But that's not really Lost's fault so much as it's the fault of crazy fans.
