Metroid isn't happening, but Zelda and Starfox are. Zelda is just a low effort action game based on Dynasty Warriors, and Starfox reportedly a $20 game.

I hope Battlefiend: Hardline shows up on the Wii U. It really needs some real video games tackling real issues like police officers being issued RPGs.

I feel very excited about Nintendo's digital event. As long as they announce the games they already announced and maybe like 2 more titles I feel they'll be pretty set for the rest of the year.

I said come in! posted:The best thing about the Wii U so far has been its overpriced virtual console library. Otherwise its just been overdone sequels that top even Call of Duty in numbers. 110+ Mario games and counting. All but 4 games in the Microsoft event involved killing things, and 2 of those were Dance Central. Just because you skin a shooter with a new franchise doesn't make it any different than the others.

I hope the new Zelda is absolutely nothing like Skyward Sword because I couldn't stand that game. I'd love a new Metroid too, but it won't happen. It's so strange how Nintendo refuses to put out a new 2D Metroid or a remake of Metroid 2. Or something. Anything from one of the greatest franchises that's ever existed. I know Other M was a huge bomb, but that doesn't excuse the lack of a 3DS Metroid akin to Fusion.
