Even in spite of the bugs this game is very well polished for a 0.01 alpha and it's well worth $15 just based on promise alone.

  • Animals no longer spawn multiple copies if on fire

  • Cannibals shouldn’t run underwater or follow player out to the boat (they might run a little bit into water however)

  • Fixed some bushes missing vertex colors when cut

Multiplayer isn't out yet, although the devs have plans for it. It's clear that this is going to be a really atmospheric and creepy game, so it will be best played alone.

Personally I'm just trying to ignore everything about it until it gets released for oculus rift, so most things will be new to me the next time I play.

I hope the devs are working on a multiplayer release some time in the near future because I want to see this game compete with Day Z and Rust. The inventory and crafting are a huge improvement over the boxes and menus that clutter every other survival-crafting game. And it's just way better looking in general.

I hope the crafting gets more depth added to it later. One of the things that I really like about this game is that they go against most survival-crafting game tropes, but stick + cloth + rope = bow is far too familiar territory.
