I miss the everloving gently caress out of going that fast despite it being bumper to bumper. I want to give the finger to every piece of poo poo in Houston with a Beamer that rides the goddamned break and makes everyone else's commute take for loving ever. For gods sakes, learn to drive Houston. The only place worse than here for traffic is Austin and Bangkok.

That's a good thing but, it took at least 12 years of insanity for that shift to occur. With the change in demographics here in Texas, maybe we won't have to wander in the wilderness for a decade. We can hope. Unfortunately, it's going to take a lot of shifts to really take the teeth out of the insanely well funded oligarchs on the Right.

Guys, guys, guys, the truth is in the middle. The left often says that the rightwingers are completely unamerican sleeper terrorists on national television, and is well known to be in the business of denying people rights, while calling them inhuman monsters whose sins will destroy the nation and spread disease. I mean I just saw the Michael Moore documentary about how Evangelicals are a blight upon this earth and must be eradicated completely.

So who knows.

Wife and I did some canvassing in Houston today. We made little stickers on some Halloween candy that say when early voting ends and reminds people that uber and lyft are doing free rides that we're gonna hand out tomorrow. Wish we'd thought of it sooner! No crazies, thankfully, but I think the app they use is only sending us to registered democrats or something similar.

We used Polis which does something similar I think. We did another hundred doors today, people are generally being pretty nice, unless they were upset that we bothered them on their way to church.
