Sakuya for 10.5 e: as an aside, I found myself bringing along Aya a fair bit since I always brought along Momiji (because she's amazing) and Sanae (because she's cool and become amazing) because it felt right, but she is definitely not particularly amazing.

People may or may not be interested, but I'm going to be streaming Genius of Sappheiros here in about an hour. It's based off of the SaGa RPGs, and is pretty good, but I'm too lazy to SSLP it hence the stream. We're on the 4th level (the Palace of Earth Spirits) which is where the game gets serious.

Most of the canon pairings have a team name, as well as some of FMW's added friendships (like Sakuya and Komachi is Unlikely Friends or something like that IIRC). Aside from that, there are a few random joke team names, like if you pair up Luna and Lunasa you get Silent Moon. Dai in particular is nuts with this, because pairing her up with like half the cast results in PreCure jokes, like Dai/Sanae is Cure Miracle, Dai/Mystia is Cure Chorus, Dai/Rumia is Cure Darkness, Dai/Star is Cure Sapphire, and so on.

39M is seriously so much better than 39R it's ridiculous. 39R is just like "gently caress you mom give me my new clothes", where-as 39M is this really elaborate character developing chapter. There's the whole question of motivations, her getting shot down, that whole flashback sequence, and the Battle Mastery basically being "yo go check out how loving cool Marisa is now", with the awesome conversations preceding each attack. Also, it's not clear from the screenshots, but you can't actually use Blazing Star in 39M proper - they save it just for that story attack. And then they do the fade to white with the Stage Clear... god drat it's such a cool chapter

I am sad I've been busy the past couple of days, not only did I not stream on Monday, but I also missed apparently the worst Touhou thing ever on Ryza's stream? And then Blitz beat me to sperging about how awesome Zeuth VS Zeuth is, particularly FMW3's version of it. Oh well, I'm probably going to beat DoD here in about 30 minutes if that's your thing.

Fair enough, I guess I was just lying or something, I do tend to do that. I guess to maybe get some discussion going, I'll pose a question: what cross-game interactions in FMW so far have you guys liked? They don't make a big deal out of it, but I really like that Yuuka and Yukari are super old acquaintances that vaguely get along but don't really like each other.
