Noah posted:I actually managed to die to the very first enemy due to some unfortunate critical hits and misses. It's actually very easy to die on him. If he critical hits (maybe 10% chance) and you either miss or don't get a critical hit to compensate, you will die.

I love how much freedom artists take on old games like this. Blonde girl with blue armour and white cape = blonde girl dressed in red head to toe, with a huge red shield.

Rabbi Raccoon posted:Isn't there some kinda bug with the claw weapons? I think there's something along the lines of: if an enemy is afflicted by one of the statuses the claw can commit, they are afflicted by every status the claw can do. This doesn't matter for pretty much anything except the final claw, which has the option of petrifying the enemy, resulting in an instant death.

That also happens in at least Final Fantasy 4 / 2us. Possibly 5 as well, but I haven't played that one as much to know for sure.

Blackray Jack posted:There's a weird aftereffect that if you leave the credits running you'll begin to see Tristam and Kid running around on deck, a grey blob for Tristam and a blue (I think? It's been a while) for Kid. I was sure that happened when I beat it as a kid, but could never verify it anywhere. Thank you for confirming my sanity.
