I'm afraid we have no time for codes and manners.
Initially I honestly thought it was a supernatural thriller. Maybe watching it with the one-week gap in between episodes was a factor, as there was a longer period where I was wondering what the hell was going on. There's the suggestion of genetic manipulation, the future-prediction in the comic, and the general sense of... otherness? Also, it's not yet clear whether Arby and Jessica get their.. abilities and/or predispositions from their upbringing or from the genetic testing. It's true that that's more sci-fi than supernatural, but they're on the same continuum.
