It's been rumored for a while now, but it looks like the USA Pro Challenge is off for 2016. They're hoping to return in 2017, but unless they can secure a title sponsor, I don't see how they can do it.

The police said he crossed the line, but other folks on the ride are saying the truck did. The other witnesses haven't spoken publicly yet. I know the corner where it happened, and if you're going even remotely fast, it's very easy to cross that line.

Other than the American riders loving it, the teams had some issues with the race. A lot of the course was ridden on remote and surprisingly flat roads with very few people around. The Denver finish and the Fort Collins and Boulder stages were well attended, but outside of that, not that many people were driving all over the state to watch the stages. I watched stages every year and had a great time. I do hope it comes back, but I'm not holding my breath.

God Froome's chain looks wacky flapping down there on the trainer.
