They both scramble up the ladder - Seth immediately reaches for the belt and Ambrose immediately goes for a punch on Seth.

Tatum Girlparts posted:No pro-wrestling 101 would be for SETH to gently caress Ambrose over, maybe cheat somehow by having one of THE OTHER DUDES IN THE MATCH hold him back or something. Then, gee whiz, you can do angles WITH PEOPLE IN YOUR MATCH instead of bringing in loving Kane for the fifth time in a row. Anybody involved in the match getting in the way would have been perfectly within the rules of the match and not had the same impact. Kane was an outsider with no place in the match, making his interference massively unfair and making the crowd furious with Seth "stealing" the victory from Ambrose. It's about as basic as wrestling gets and it has been going on for decades - the face gets screwed out of the victory by a cheating heel's unfair advantage, then (ideally) the face goes on to get his revenge later.

I loved it, it made me go,"NOOOOOOOO!" in real life because I was so excited for Dean to win and then he got screwed out of it. Maybe it helps that it also fitted perfectly in with my prediction!

Also I loved that despite Kane's interference, Ambrose still could have won but his injured arm meant he couldn't get a solid grip on the briefcase.
