Sometimes I feel like killing myself for ever being comparably as stupid as people who have been in the "army" for 2 weeks. Of course showing up to work hungover and then listening to the army song for 6 straight hours probably doesn't help. I love my job

These barracks suck dick, the base sucks dick. At least I can make the next warm bodies stronger by smoking the balls out of them even though I'm not an E-5. I'm going to come out of here looking like the biggest loving dickhead to people I'll probably be working with in the next 4 years. And I get to waste all the extra ammo at the range using privates rifles that I "borrow" when they aren't looking, so thats a plus.

A bunch of us + our PL and PSG roadtripped to Benning from Bragg (it got us out of work on a Thursday and Friday it was pretty sweet) for my friend's Ranger School graduation and all the dudes coordinating parking and giving directions were either holding company basic brokedicks or holding company RASP dudes and I felt nothing but sympathy for them. Being trapped in TRADOC without even a unit patch on your arm is the most miserable existence I can think of; even the accompanying look of PT belt, camelbak (with earpro and eyepro cases attached), PC, and clear lens eye pro with a bald head is like something out of a concentration camp. Waking up every day in some lovely vietnam barracks with 4 people to a room, all you own in the world must go inside a wall locker, not knowing what you are going to be doing today, or tomorrow, or next week, or where you might possibly end up, or for how long you will be there. It's loving bizarro world. Anasasi, if I were you, I would go to every school imaginable starting with the ones at Benning if only to escape and see some of the outside world. Are your barracks at Sand Hill? What's your job description and daily routine, like I am genuinely curious to hear about the life of a dude in the darkest level of TRADOC hell. Well I have a unit patch now, And its more like 55 people to 1 barracks room at least in basic, it's cozy now because my roommate isn't too terrible, he's an E2 doing the same poo poo, and my daily routine is wake up, go to pt formation with the other cadre, then as I was told "Follow all instructions from the tower, rogerhooah?" It's not too bad now that they know i'm not bullshitting and being forced to whip out my orders every time I'm walking down the street without a battle buddy or buying a pack of smokes at the PX. I do a lot of work in the training room and PT with the company because even the loving 1sg/captain go and pt with the privates to boost morale or some gay poo poo. I was given a company T shirt to wear to PT so I'm not looking all 09bravo. My "job description" is Infantry School Cadre aka bitchwork daily from 4 - 15. I'm alright with going from tradoc pleb to tradoc plebv2 because gently caress it I mean I spent 0$ on anything except for the occasional pack of smokes. And I get to shoot at the range when the company is shooting if I want to blow off all the extra rounds that the privates don't use. I'll never get over people calling me drill sergeant or standing at parade rest when I give even the slightest commanding tone or yell even an octal higher than the whispering tone they are used to from anyone under 2 chevrons. The sad part is I will not be able to pick up any bitches unless I go into Columbus, even then it'll be hard to pickup anyone other than a drill sergeants daughter, wife, a Sgt Majors daughter, milf wife, etc because theres loving nothing else within 50 miles. Also holy gently caress the DSes literally gently caress chicks in the CQ office. They are all loving married too. I've seen one DS bring 4 different chicks into his or the CQ office and gently caress them. Different nights different chicks obviously for anyone thinking these guys get mad fivesomes. bastards
