I want somebody to write a story about a fascist dystopia, but everything is powered by clean fusion and all labor is automated. People would be assholes for the sake of being assholes.

Remember last fall when The Daily Caller, Breitbart, and Fox News were convinced that Senator Robert Menendez* was buying Dominican hookers? It was a Cuban government plot to get rid of Menendez, who is a strong proponent of the embargo.

Yes, the Cuban government is trolling our right wing media. And they're winning.

* While Menendez wasn't buying hookers, he has piles upon piles of shady business dealings that should be a real scandal, but aren't because of the fake hooker story

In real news, the Benghazi panel is heating up!. With heartwarming stories of bipartisan cooperation! A 3.3 million dollar budget! I'd drink like the rest of you if I wasn't a teetotaler.

Theodosius was a real forward thinker, considering Muhammad was born 200 years after he died.

It's amazing how nakedly partisan the ruling is. "The State", has meant the government since time immemorial, but "state's rights!!!" :freep: Guess all legislation will have to read "the state or federal government" now. In which someone challenges at a municipal level.

How many laws would this gently caress with if they all suddenly had to be amended to read "the state or the federal government"?

Well as a sovereign citizen the Magna Carta states that...

My sister is poor and lives in Connecticut. She complains about taxes constantly. She qualifies for the expanded Medicaid but won't go through the hassle of getting on it. She hasn't seen a primary care physician or specialist since high school. She owes $1200 dollars to an ER. She's a registered Republican. THIS IS ARE COUNTRY.

Severe anxiety issues, probably neurological since I'm a huge sperglord (as per psychiatrists, not self-diagnosis via the Internet) and our father is too. Probably didn't help that we're one generation removed from poor Maine white trash, so she got the brunt of that in her youth.

I like quizzing my family whenever they start talking politics. Asking who the Speaker of the House is usually shuts them up. Or gets them yelling at me for being smug.

I get the impression that Chuck Pierce doesn't think much of Ryan's proposal, what with the comparison to the Inclosure Acts and sharecropping.

They always seemed to gloss over sharecropping in American history. Hell when I took AP US in high school I was most excited when we devoted two weeks to the Farmer's Alliance, because it wasn't the Revolutionary or Civil War. The period between Reconstruction and Roosevelt was always 2 like two pages prior to that.

Nancy Pelosi?

I quoted Marx on religion in my high school year book. It was an inside joke. I had a slight desire to involve myself in local politics in the past, then I remembered this.
