Name one thing. edit: Wanna be clear in that I'm not implying you're defending it, but where I grew up, I found that's a fairly easy trap question to ask people who defend the Confederacy. Of course it didn't last that long, but that makes it harder to answer. Basically the same thing you'd ask to people who say "Hitler was bad, but he did have some good ideas..."
