I don’t think anybody is defending his honor at this point. I know I was just calling people bums for listening to his backwash but even goobusters stopped talking about his music being good a while ago. Sorry for being aggro earlier

i've seen no one really defend kanye on here the last few years. don't get me wrong, if he was still making great music i'd be the first to be like "well maybe the hitler thing is more of a metaphor, let's hear him out"

Old Town Road to EGOT

Back in the TLOP era, I would've been thrilled about a bunch of Kanye leaks. But he sucks as a person and he hasn't even been making good music for several years IMO, so I just don't give a poo poo at all.

Yeah I guess it gets hard to separate the art from the artist when they establish a long track record of being a lovely person in general. I know early on his mental illness was used as an excuse for his behavior, but now it's to the point to where he's just a True Believer and he really goes hard on it during a manic episode. I'm sure his mom dying didn't help his situation out any either.

And the mercy seat is awaiting,
And I think my head is burning,
And in a way I'm yearning,
To be done with all this measuring of proof.
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth,
And anyway I told the truth,
And I'm not afraid to die.
random q why does The Chronic album not list the features on each track? everything is just listed as Dr Dre and if anything it feels like theres more Snoop on the album

"Tape Correction" usually means not being as fast (which sucks).

Also the added compression / limiting can drag the momentum of something that was more dynamic (which sucks).

A.k.a. just buy the original CD.

Las Vegas police arrest man in Tupac Shakur drive-by shooting case

quote:

Duane “Keffe D” Davis was arrested early Friday morning, although the exact charge or charges were not immediately clear, according to two officials with first-hand knowledge of the arrest. They were not authorized to speak publicly ahead of an expected indictment later on Friday.

Davis has long been known to investigators and has himself admitted in interviews and in his 2019 tell-all memoir, Compton Street Legend, that he was in the Cadillac from which the gunfire erupted during the September 1996 drive-by shooting. Shakur was 25 when he was gunned down.

/../

“He put himself squarely in the middle of the conspiracy,” Kading said of Davis and the Shakur killing. “He had acquired the gun, he had given the gun to the shooter and he had been present in the vehicle when they hunted down and located both Tupac and Suge [Knight]”

Kading noted that Davis is the last living person among the four people who were in the vehicle from which shots were fired at Shakur and Knight. Others were Anderson, Terrence “Bubble Up” Brown and DeAndre “Freaky” Smith.

“It’s a concerted effort of conspirators,” Kading said, adding that he believed that because the killing was premeditated Davis could face a first-degree murder charge.

“All the other direct conspirators or participants are all dead,” Kading said. “Keefe D is the last man standing among the individuals that conspired to kill Tupac.”
