Abandon posted:the best (by default)sonic game is when you lock sonic 1 onto sonic and knuckles and play nothing but the special stage it wasn't just sonic 1 that did this. any genesis game that wasn't sonic 2 or 3 would do that. i think the stages were also different depending on the game?? might be wrong on that. p.s. the best game is still Sonic Adventure 2: Battle

I think Sonic 1 is actually supposed to work, but they locked it out bc Sonic 1 uses a different pallette from 2, and adding Knuckles' red into it fucks everything up.

it is sonic 2&3&k. that was a trio of p. good sonics. that there were only three levels in generations and two of them were 'grass' levels sucks dick. generations should have just had most of the levels from 2&3&k & CD because those were thje only sonics i played. though the music for city zone escape street or whatever was p. cool

the advance games are also pretty good if sonic's your thing and speed's your game if you have the gamecube sa2:b and the gba sonic advances you can pass a chao between them. chao are the reason sonic got good again for a bit. then they took them out and the psychic backlash was so powerful as to create sonic 2006
