I'm not really sure where to post this, so if you have an idea of a place that may get a better response, let me know :) I'm looking for recommendations on a DIY photo booth for an upcoming wedding:

I am interested in setting up a small photo booth for a wedding coming up in several months. I've seen a variety of projects involving the raspberry pi, pi camera module, or pi-controlled dslr via USB, and even Webcam solutions.

The 5mp pi camera module's photo quality is a little less than ideal, but is doable.. but I would like have decent quality photos that we can look back on and include a few in albums, etc. Obviously the dslr controlled solution would be the best quality, but I would have to borrow one the day of and it would be difficult to set up a project without having the camera.

So, I'm looking to other suggestions for either 1) a Webcam like solution that may have better resolution than the Pi camera or 2) an inexpensive point and shoot that would be able to take snapshots using the gphoto libraries. I would like the total project to stay under ~$200.
