The contestants: Stevie Ray Cole Macho Man Vince McMahon Disco Inferno Ed Whalen Don West Mike Tenay JBL Mark Madden Lawler Tony Schiavone Jonathan Coachman Mike Adamle Matt Striker Mongo McMichael Predictions will be accepted at http://challonge.com/worstonthemic until 7/16/14 at noon, at which point actual factual voting will begin.

I got to agree that Lord Alfred Hayes needs to be on the list. I dread watching old WWF matches when the commentating team is Lord Alfred Hayes and Gorilla Monsoon. I would also add Rowdy Roddy Piper and Michael Hayes to the tournament. Speaking of Gorilla he is only listenable on commentary when accompanied by Heenan or Ventura. Either WWF Challenge or Superstars use to have the horrible team of Gorilla, Piper, and Macho Man.

I wasn't watching when Matt Striker was around, but the few shows I've seen with him on the Network have made me hate him. I hate him. Would Oklahoma count? It was actually a pretty good JR impression if you could look past the, y'know, nauseating horribleness of the whole idea. "Piñata! Piñata! Piñata!"

Stupid idiot Steve Corino should be on this list. Also I know I'm in the minority but there's no way in hell that Matt Striker is worse than JBL. I wasn't a huge fan of him back in the day, but he never actually drove me to change the channel, something that JBL has done more than once.

As ridiculous as Striker was, I did enjoy trying to figure out what the random crap coming out of his mouth meant. Also he's responsible for my favorite commentary line ever - "TIE DOWN YOUR MOTHER, HERE COMES TRIPLE H!"
