 To be fair, I don't find it implausible that the character is going through a mid-life crisis and is actually using a hairpiece.

Hopefully a vampire will rip it off in the next episode.

 This episode was dumb as bricks, but they could perhaps have mitigated it by airing the first two episode as one pilot.

Too little happening for my taste.
