Morter posted:This looks like this is the cheapest it's ever been. How long does this game last? I've been itching for a quality shooter for a while, and I've been eyeing this game, but I'm not rushing it, especially if it's short. I got it when it released from GreenManGaming with a 25% deal and it was worth it even then. Straight up fun, solid shooter. There's 2 timelines to follow but I'm just warning you that there isn't a whole lot of deviation between them. Even though I've said that, even once through the game is very worth it. I did it once, set it down then came back and did the second timeline. Still just as fun.

Morter posted:I'm rarely one to play a linear game repeatedly for the hell of it, but I did play Darkness 2 for the sake of full achievements and junk, because it was a solid shooter. Good news, the game still looks pretty good on medium settings and if you played Darkness 2 for the cheevos then you would most likely do the same for this! Bad news, I remember there being a hub bub about it not playing nice with AMD cards. I have Nvidia. Maybe someone else can chime in?

Shame we may never see 2 on Steam though to complete the trifecta. Oh neat. I didn't realize that there were some ex-Bizarre members on the team. I thought it was going to be a cash in on the name. Maybe one day there will be a The Club 2. Of course SEGA probably has the IP rights to that. Call it "The Lodge" or "The Bunch"

Yourlifesayshi posted:So I purchased Wolfenstein a couple days ago as part of this fall sale. I'm about an hour into the game and I'm getting ready to uninstall. I'm playing on the hardest difficult which I do for pretty much every game. I expect to die a few times and to re-do parts. However, the load times from when you die in this game are off the charts. This is my biggest issue with the game. It completely takes me out of the experience. Is there any way to improve this or am I just going to have to wait until I get a solid state hard drive? Try lowering the difficulty. You're depriving yourself of a fun game if you're frustrated with the handicap you're giving yourself. The lethality of the enemies in that game is no joke.

Terrible in basically every way it is possible to be terrible! The third time I was instantly killed from across a single-file corridor by a zombie riot cop who threw a grenade, I came to the conclusion that this game was worth the price I paid for it: 0 cents. Hey look, realistic FBI agent simulator Narco Terror is on sale for $1.99. You go and investigate the kidnapping of your daughter and you can take a fellow agent along on the case for local co-op sleuthing. You go to a tropical island to interrogate suspects and pick up clues. You deal with the suspects with as little violence as possible, otherwise your agent rating suffers. Give it a try! Have a trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TP-k2-ogFSU Watch the trailer before you blind buy!
