In the past I was known to use a mouse left-handed for the longest of times; partly because I'm left-handed, and partly to gently caress with people who'd want to start using my computer at work. Backseat computing happens a lot where I work and people sometimes get antsy to take control. It's a weird thing with our work culture, don't ask. Once upon a time, during the boom of the last console generation, I had stopped playing competitive shooters on the pc. Past UT2004, most FPS' that had become Bioshocky consolized affairs that focused on things other than aiming skill. For these shooters, controllers became adequate. Additionally, during these past years, I've picked up using almost exclusively a trackball or wacom tablet at home, and I've changed my mouse to mostly right-handed at work. Though, I do still occasionally swap it back to left-handed. These temporary swaps are to prevent injury, you see.

So anyways, now I'm completely hosed. I can use a mouse or trackball in both hands just fine, but I now can't aim for poo poo with a mouse anymore. It has become completely alien to either hand for different reasons. I sorta want to play some UT2004 again but I'm completely awful. Will I ever no-scope at the zenith of a jumppad bounce ever again? Have these controllers become my vibrating shackles?
