Good news: We've set up some dedicated server space for you terrible addicts. First register an account on the Scientology Forums and then follow the steps over at FLJK under 'enlist'. For your clearance code enter "Sexy BULBASAUR 69" and in the comments write "MWO Refugee" or "Homo for robo" or "I hate myself" and you will be approved within a day or so. Then you can mech using new dedicated infra- we have a thread about terrible mechs, the_nest is still alive and full of crushed dreams, the wiki works, and there is a mumble. I will not play with you, however.

The old WOL infra is archived and no longer supported after we migrated to FLJK. Play there all you like, but your mileage may be limited.

About 55%, give or take. The Hellbringer/Loki is another machine that could really benefit from Ferro/Endo but doesn't come with either. If we ever get it it'll be a better E-War platform than the Kitfox since it's as fast as the Timberwolf and is pretty tough once you add some armor.

I just expect PGI won't bother to add it before the game dies since they're terrified of ECM we're already getting the Summoner, and the Mad Dog is a more iconic design (even though the Mad Dog's whole claim to fame is being a Timberwolf with less weapons that also happens to be significantly easier to kill).

I know people really like the Mad Dog. I'm one of them, it's got a neat design. It's still going to be red-hot garbage if they ever add it to MWO, especially since the Timberwolf will likely have been available for C-Bills for five years before PGI gets around to hiring new artists to replace the staff they seem to be hemorrhaging.

In a painful fit of nostalgia, I got MW4 reinstalled and working, PLEASE GOD someone tell me that there's a way to turn off the auto-torso-centering. Other than that issue, I refit a Daishi and launched into a match and loaded in less time than it takes me to swap two lasers on a mech in MWO. Just using this interface for three minutes is like a bucket of cold water re: just how lovely the people running PGI are.
