Heys guys, there's a bunch of games going on. I hear that everyone's favorite fat man (except maybe Red Sox fans I guess), Bartolo Colon, is doing particularly well. Maybe we should talk about it.

Which radio feed should I listen to on At Bat? I've never listened to a Mets or Mariners game and I don't know which announcers are better.

Joba Chamberlin up to bat for the Tigers in the 8th. Never thought I'd miss Jim Leyland, but here we are.

So they make Joba take an AB, but then end up not using him because it's no longer a Hold situation. Well ok then.

I remember there was a Mariner game a few years ago against the Cardinals where Tony LaRussa left his starter in to bat (wanna say it was either Wainwright or Carpenter) where the starter had the lead. He batted, got on base, and eventually scored. LaRussa pulled him next inning. That pretty much encapsulated the TLR experience for me.

It probably has more do with him being their only major league caliber reliever than it does the hold statistic. They'll need him in LA Anaheim.

Yeah, I can't really fault Ausmus on any of those decisions. Each one was correct in the context of the situation when the decision had to be made. In sum they look silly, though.

Well he could have avoided it by double switching Joba in, but yeah. It didn't end up mattering
