 I have been toying with TEW13 and I've decided it might be time to start an LP for it. GFW has been added in a few real world mods, so that's that. You can help me when I have decisions. To put a few things together before we run our first show, here's a few questions I need answered. A. Who should we pursue as a color commentator? - Nigel McGuiness - Fairly cheap, good. Has indicated he may be leaving the business. - Steve Corino - Not very good, but known and cheap. - Roddy Piper - Very good, expensive. Not reliable. B. Who else should we pursue for the active roster? The database is as of July 2014, so workers available now will do. Keep note that major stars will reject GFW on principle of being too small. C. How should we start the title programs? We have two titles, the GFW Heavyweight Title and the GFW Tag Team Titles. Who should pursue these titles and how? D. What tag teams should we form? Note: I am hesitant to put Kaz and Daniels in teams because they have high singles upside. I will be back Saturday evening to tally votes and decide what to do next. Is Roadblock in this mod? If so get him. C. How should we start the title programs? GFW Heavyweight Title: Jeff Jarrett and Kevin Steen. Jarrett awards the title to himself, so deal with it... Slap Nuts. Steen plays anti-authority babyface, shenanigans ensue. GFW Tag Team Titles: Kaz and Daniels vs UMB and Matt Hardy. Kaz and Daniels lose, leads to a split, and they either go their separate ways or feud against each other. D. What tag teams should we form? Kenny King and Chris Hero, their gimmicks being that they're strippers. A) Hot Rod. Weak announcing can hurt matches, and we can't afford that. B) Try to get one of WWE's recent releases. JTG and Evan Bourne have been off TV so long that it's likely we could get them despite our lack of prestige. Brodus Clay might make a good Monster Heel in the midcard if he doesn't think he's too good for us. Yoshi Tatsu might leave NXT if we're willing to put him near the top of the card and he could have some stellar matches with Matt. C) Heavyweight Champion: Kevin Steen vs Matt Hardy. Matt is Hulk Hogan in his own mind: He talks about how he was Edge's greatest rival, how Jeff and Lita never would have gotten anywhere without him, how after he put Brock Lesnar over the bum wasted the rub by going to play football. He does everything in his power to manipulate the company into thinking he's the star GFW needs build the whole company around, takes credit for everything so he gets every possible favor on his way to the title. Meanwhile Steen actually earns his way to the main event with hardfought matches. Tag Champion: If you get JTG, also get Shad and reform Cryme Tyme. They literally steal the Tag Titles and force Jarret to sanction them as Champions or they'll pawn the belts. If not, but the straps on MVP and Shelton Benjamin. D) I dunno, take other people's ideas.

See if you can get Matt Sydal, he's got enough flippy doo that he might be able to pull off a low-rent AJ Styles. C. How should we start the title programs? GFW Title: I'm a big fan of tournaments and firmly believe an initial champion should be decided that way. Big moments include Kaz losing his match but helping Daniels in his match, this reforming Bad Influence but for the time being as a support system as opposed to a true tag team. Chris Hero & Nick Dinsmore setting up a program (I don't know why, I just think they would be an intriguing program) The final being between Kevin Steen & Jeff Jarrett, leading into a program like what DNEA suggested. Tag Titles: As much as I believe in tournaments, doing two can get a bit lame. Instead, establish a Chikara-esque three point system, and the first 2 teams to get 3 wins challenge for the title. For the sake of names, have it be the Motor City Machine Guns (if possible to get Sabin) and Pure Intensity (see tag teams) D. What tag teams should we form? MVP/Loki as Pure Intensity Nab Chris Sabin for the MCMG I'm with L30, get the Bucks and Briscoes Bad Influence as an occasional team to basically act as gatekeepers but focusing on them as singles wrestlers

You can't sign anyone employed by WWE or NXT because they're all on written or exclusive PPA contracts. You'll have to watch for releases or firings. If this is the same mod I'm using, Evan Bourne and co. will sign with us no problem. The only thing to watch for is popular workers like them will end up working for 3 or 4 promotions and scheduling shows around them can become a nightmare.
