All of his mugs are like this- segments of tree hollowed out and coated with whatever it is he uses to seal them. Good for hot and cold beverages, but you're not supposed to machine wash it. Virtually unbreakable in normal handling. Steel handle optional. Mine is huge, box elder wood, and I use the handle and the branch interchangeably to hold it. Here it is when I'm drinking from it, so you can use my giant, dumb head for scale. I thought your mug was ceramic painted to look like wood, but it being actual wood is cooler. A+ mug!

Mugs make pretty good whiskey glasses. Apparently my camera's reaction to dusk is to make everything super blurry and soft. Also pictured: rare 1 week quarantine scruff.

That might just be the internalized, lowered standards of American beer drinking speaking.  Still living in Munich and still really loving the hell out of it. If you happen to be in the Basel area, we should grab a beer the next time i'm there for work!

I took a picture of my tattoos because while they are not new acquisitions I have not taken a nice picture of them in several years and while they have not changed much I have!   sometimes people ask me what they mean and I say "I just really like birds." and they look at me like they're waiting for more and I add "and roses." Sometimes this helps. Sometimes it doesn't.
