There's "poor," like we see in Africa where they drink and bathe in sewer water, and then there's "America-poor" who buy their frozen pizzas at walmart and have plenty of time to go downtown to babytown. The nonexistence of healthcare for the poor in Africa means only a small portion of the kids they have make it to survive being raped at the age of 8 by some AIDS guy thinking that's how he gets cured. In America the poor have government health care and WIC to make sure their many babies get formula, all paid for with tax money. And this is fine. I just wished any of that actually worked to not make them poor any more.
