No Rob Zombie, I watched halloween 2 and you aren't allowed to make movies anymore. Yes The Devils Rejects is really cool and fun but lightning doesn't strike twice and just no thank you sir. Edit: goddamnit no your wife isn't getting yet another lead role, yes she was fairly attractive in 1997 but that does not a good actress make. I have no idea what the answer is, but I do know this--last year my metal head gf and I went and saw him live because why not, he puts on a fun show and still plays his old stuff. He played to the state's biggest venue, a massive outdoor amphitheater. This year he's rolling through the state again, but his venue has dramatically changed. Now he's going to be at what is essentially a city's metropark, and not even one of the biggest cities. I'm a horror buff, and I tend to lean towards the crappy low budget pap for my kicks. Because of that I've seen all his live-action stuff (still haven't seen his cartoon thing). And everytime I end up leaving disappointed in the worst way. See, his stuff isn't actually bad, it's something far-worse--it's very mediocre. And even moreso, it's just close enough to being good that you can see what an amazing film could have been...but it falls short nowhere near that. He's a total cocktease of a director. That he often tries to be referential to the 70's, his favorite decade that he can't decide if his movies exist in or not, doesn't do him any favors.
