evenworse username posted:I guess that's good? It is, but at the risk of going on another rant about CorsiRel, it is partly because the Habs' RD depth is trash after Subban and because CorsiRel doesn't control for usage. Those minutes played without Subban are probably either tough minutes with Gorges (when Markov's playing with Subban), or any kind of minutes with assorted garbage like Diaz, Emelin, Bouillon and Dog Murray (in order of trashiness). Compare that to Pietrangelo, whose CorsiRel comes mainly from comparison with Shattenkirk, who gets easier deployments and is also a pretty good defenseman in his own right.

There's basically no way Teemu will play for Jokerit next season now that they're in the khl, though. The travel alone from Finland to the deep depths of Siberia will be something I bet Teemu would not want to go through. Also, the league as a whole is a complete joke as teams left and right are folding, including last year's finalist Lev Prague. But IF he indeed does play, I bet it'll be one home game so that he'll retire as a Jokerit hockey game man.

Now, I'm not suggesting a derail, but I am incepting one into the SAS hivemind brain. In NHL related news, the Grand Rapid Griffins have made a grave mistake in asking for fan concepts for the team's next alternate jersey: http://www.hockeyjerseyconcepts.com/p/grand-rapids-griffins-competition.html There's a slideshow of the current entries. Most of them are tame, but every now and then you see an MSPaint disaster and it's amazing.
