I thought i would make a thread for all sorts of puzzle games bc the single ones like DROD probably fall of the first pages to fast. So this is a thread for gamers who like to be puzzled. some good recent Puzzle Games of the top of my hat: Deadly Rooms Of Death Proffesor Layton Pushmo/Crashmo (Pullblox/Fallblox) Spacechem Desktop Dungeons As you can see, a very healthy and innovative genre right there folks. Gotta work them braincells. You can talk bout puzzle-bazed graphic adventures ala monkey island too i guess.... But never, ever talk about match 3 kinda poo poo! I dont wanna hear it. the only puzzle is why anyone would play that garbo?!? So whats your fav puzzle game? whats the one that frustrated you to death? etc etc

you like headscratchers? try this game Hanano Puzzle (aka Flower Puzzle) you move the blocks by swapping (similar to tetris attack) and the goal is to make all the colored squares grow flowers by making each square touch an existing flower it starts out manageable but then gets really tough in later stages

much of pushmo, and all of picross 3d, fall into a problem where you kinda just know a pattern for solving the puzzles and can repeat it endlessly and solve almost everything without thinking once you learn it they are still fun tho

ive been playing this a bit and its pretty good http://www.theincrediblecompany.com/alcazar-1/ you learn how the rules can affect whats possible and then combine those techniques you learn to solve larger puzzles, thats always enjoyable

toki tori 2 is fun but they made so many terrible design decisions you can tell why it didn't sell none of the levels have names so if you get stuck you have to describe poo poo like That Part With 3 Frogs And 7 Birds Where There's A Collectable Between The 5th And 6th Bird
