Yay, OGs! I've played the GBA versions and heard about the differences in the remake, but I've never seen them, so I'm definitely watching this.

To be fair, that is a REALLY EASY mistake to make. I'm more confused at Banpresto than AtlusUSA, honestly.

Yeah, Impact was a remake of the whole Compact 2 trilogy, and it shows. It is very clearly three game lengths long.

Probably just me though.

Eh, I can understand that. She's really funny, especially when you put her in other mechs, but her constantly making innuendos in dialogue scenes can get really annoying.

So something I just kind of thought up - is the plot here related to the characters' original appearances in other SRW games, or have they written an entirely new one?

They use the plots from the other SRW games, too. OG1 is basically Alpha 1.

I am kind of meh about Bullet myself. He's a fine character and all, but out of the enormous cast of Original Generations, he is a little on the bland side, most notiably known for screaming out KUSUHAAAAAAAAAA all the time. Which they even lampshade in the OVA.

Bullet is my least favorite of the alpha originals in OG. He's not interesting and he's not funny. He's basically there for Excellen to be Excellen at.

Well to be fair is was the other way around in Alpha and besides Kusuha CLEARLY overshadows him in terms of mechs I mean RyuKoOh is just amazing.

Yeah, it was the other way around, that's the problem. The entire point of Kusuha and Bullet is that you would think that Bullet is the hot-blooded super robot pilot and Kusuha is his damsel in distress love interest, but it's the other way around. Reversing that kinda defeats the purpose of the characters.

If you think that Excellen is going to let facts get in the way of her jokes, you need to learn a lot.

Also, Tenzan certainly acts much younger than he is.

In my imagination, Midorikawa Hikaru hovers over everyone's shoulder at Banpresto at all times, giving his input on everything from unit placement to sound mixing to just how loud you need to scream "Jet Magnum". It explains a lot to me.

One of these days, Green River Light Voice is just going to stop voice acting so he can get a job at Banpresto, and every SRW game from then onwards has all of his characters in them. Even if they don't have the rest of the series.

A 13 or 14 year old girl really should dress like that. (At least the manga made her seem older)

If it makes you feel better, she's not 13 or 14.

She's 15!

And the actual outfit isn't that stupid (it's better than Aya's pilot suit, at least.) It's that Seolla has a bad case of Sudden Disappearing Bra Syndrome, the leading cause of injury for female mecha pilots.
