They'd delay the 360 and PS3 versions too if they were going to remove the Punk/Cena thing. Plus it'd be too late to have something else replace it and it's a significant part of the "story" mode. It's got to be something technically wrong with the "next-gen" versions.

I think they're saving any big marketing pushes for the XB1/PS4 version since that's the one they put the focus on.

New XB1 and PS4 footage featuring Cesaro's apron suplex, Luke Harper's Tope, Bray Wyatt's Sister Abigail, and Orton & Batista's RKO-Bomb. Daniel Bryan's model appears to have been improved. Also 2K confirmed the game will be 1080p on both plaforms because that matters to five people. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IK51MZLseMc Daniel Bryan fucked around with this message at 00:36 on Oct 25, 2014 |

That would imply they can manage a co-promotion with 2K beyond advertising the game on TV. I have no faith.

I am no apologist. This game is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's the one sure buy every year for me. And I enjoy it. Every time. Despite whatever things there are to bitch about every year (and there always are) I buy it and enjoy the gently caress out of it. It's a game I'd never recommend to anyone unless they knew what they're getting into but I do know it'd probably take a massive dive in quality for me to stop buying and playing it. I also understand not everyone plays the games like me. I love spending a lot of time in the career modes and Universe mode, mainly with just the current roster. That said, CAW slots do not bother me one bit. I download maybe 5 per year, and it's mainly just for simulation and such. I understand why someone would care, but I'll have fun regardless.

In reality, it doesn't matter all that much outside of a few exclusives. PS4 is more powerful. Xbox One can be found for cheaper these days.

Still, if you're price conscious. Looks like WWE 2K15 last gen will be $30 at Meijer on Black Friday.

Just get 2K14. It'll be cheaper, will have more community creations, and isn't missing features like 2K15. Universe Mode has a few improvements in 2K15 but probably not enough to justify spending more money on it.

Oh well. I guess it kind of sucks you can't do those few things I'd never do. Sounds to me like they're rebuilding things and that sometimes mean features come and go. This doesn't excuse it and I understand this being a deal breaker for someone else, but at least they came forward before the game was out.

It is Yukes, yes. I don't like Yukes as much as the next guy. But, this is Yukes also working with a new platform and with a new publisher for essentially the first time. 2K14 was a THQ game with 2K.jpg replacing THQ.jpg where needed. 2K may have different expectations or goals for the games that we don't know about.

Triple H vs Daniel Bryan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-02-c8ZiDqY&list=UUxWypy81laoaOKJOhKiV2Zw I guess it's exactly what I expected. A few new things like HHH's desperation pedigree are cool. The rest looks basically the same as 2K14.

pressedbunny posted:That's what's happening this time. The review embargo lifts the night of release day, not the morning. The game will be on sale (and pre-orders intact and fulfilled) for the whole day before reviews can go live. Are you sure? That sounds particularly bizarre.
